I welcome you all into the divine presence of the King of glory in this convention. Giving thanks to God the father for counting it worthy that we all gather again this year. Appreciating the goodness of the Lord in all our life, family and the church and seeing and testifying of his faithfulness for such tremendous increase the mission has experience since the last time we held our bi-annual convention. When the Psalmist said, “Tell of His glory among the nations” (Psalm 96:3), and “Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name”(verse 8), things such as His honour, His Majesty, His Strength, His beauty, His Sovereignty, His justice, His righteousness, and His faithfulness were mentioned (verses 6,10,13). God’s glory is all that He is. Brethren, the one we are serving is known as the King of Glory, his Kingship is an everlasting one and his Glory is beautiful to behold, and in his presence there is joy evermore. Looking at the trend of events in this last days, the theme of this year can be said to be just perfect because it is time to refocus our mind to the fact that our Lord is coming very soon and there is the urgent need to awake not only ourselves, and immediate environment but the whole world about his appearing. I enjoined you all to desire a new thing as we attend each session of the convention, because everyday is loaded with its own benefit let us all give thanks, rejoice, worship and study and learn from the word of God, believing that it all going to be well rewarding for everyone. You are all welcome once again into the presence of the King of Glory. |
